With a keen interest in community-building within and beyond academia, Astrida Neimanis has been involved with the Seed Box since 2015. Teaching and researching at the intersection of intersectional feminist theory and practice, and environmental change, she is particularly interested in water, weather, and bodies. She is author of Bodies of Water: Posthuman Feminist Phenomenology (Bloomsbury 2017). Since 2015, she has been co-facilitating (with Jennifer Mae Hamilton) of the (now) international reading group COMPOSTING feminisms & environmental humanities.
